Wolf Animation - Project Outline

Hour. 6-7

Animation Project Outline

Character/Story:
·              Come up with a character wolf design with a storyboard all filled out
  Due: Jan 30th  
  Blog: Character sheet
1.     Finish watching Lynda 2D Character videos
2.     Draw out a Wolf Character profile sheet (1-2 Days)
3.     Draw out a storyboard (2 Days)

Sketches:
·            Draw out the sketches/frames of the story based on the storyboard
 Due: Feb 3th
 Blog: Picture of a few frame sketches
1.     Sketch Wolf running frames
2.     Sketch side view
3.     Sketch front view
4.     Sketch back view
5.     Sketch eyes
6.     Sketch wolf pieces
7.     Sketch backgrounds


Re-drawing/Coloring/Details:
·              Go back to sketches of the frames and re-draw them. Starting on actual drawings of the animation with colors and details to all frames needed
  Due: Feb 20th
  Blog: Beginnings of re-drawings, the outlines. A shot of the frames completely colored. Picture of the frames all detailed.
1.     Re-Drawing/Outline all Sketches
2.     Add color to Sketches
3.     Add details, shading and highlights to drawings


Animation:
·            Put all frames/drawings into After Effects and begin animating.
 Due: March 12th
 Blog: A shot of beginning animating. Render out a few seconds of an animation to post (Running frames).
1.     Animate Run Cycle Side/Front/Back view
2.     Animate background movements
3.     Animate Eyes to Pieces
4.     Animate Pieces falling
5.     Animate Pieces coming together then shattering everywhere
6.     Animate Credits
7.     Add in sounds when finished

Rendering:
·            Render out finished animation with sound.
 Due: March 14th
 Blog: Post finished animation
1.     Render out finished animation
2.     Check animation for any mess ups
3.     Check sound timing
